Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, has met Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš during a working visit to Prague.
The talks focused on strengthening relations between the UAE and the Czech Republic, including cooperation across economic, political and development sectors.
The two sides also discussed regional and international developments, including the impact of recent drone and missile attacks targeting the UAE.
Discussions covered the implications for maritime security, global energy supplies and the wider economy, as well as the recent drone attack near the Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant in Abu Dhabi’s Al Dhafra region.
Prime Minister Babiš expressed the Czech Republic’s solidarity with the UAE and condemned the attacks.
Sheikh Abdullah thanked the Czech Republic for its support and reaffirmed that all residents and visitors in the UAE remained safe.
The meeting was also attended by UAE Minister of State Saeed Al Hajeri.
