The UAE’s One Billion Meals Endowment campaign has raised AED 750 million in the 20 days since its launch.
It received donations from more than 120,000 contributors, including individuals, businesses and public and private organisations.
The initiative aims to reach out to underprivileged people around the world and support global efforts to eradicate hunger.
The campaign, which coincided with the holy month of Ramadan, has seen a remarkable response since its launch, with members of the community racing to contribute and make a difference, highlighting the noble values deeply held in the UAE community.
Donations can be made through the campaign’s website, SMS, bank transfer, a dedicated call centre or the DubaiNow app.
