Kuwait has reopened its airspace after temporarily closing it early Thursday following Iranian strikes on the country.
The closure was put in place at 4:50 am, with flights diverted to alternative airports following the necessary procedures.
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation had said the closure was a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and security of air navigation and passengers.
It added it is continuously monitoring developments.

Over the last few days, Kuwait has had to close its airspace several times due to Iranian drone attacks.
On June 3, Kuwait reported the death of one person after Iranian drones targeted its airport, leaving more than 60 injured and causing significant damage to a passenger terminal.
