At least five people have died after torrential rain triggered a major landslide in the south Indian state of Kerala.
Authorities in Wayanad district said a massive search and rescue operation has been launched following fears that several more may still be trapped beneath the debris.
Seven people were reported injured and were receiving treatment in hospitals.
