Flydubai has added Mykonos and Santorini to its seasonal summer schedule.
The low-cost carrier will operate three weekly flights to the two Greek islands between June 18 and September 29.
Emirates will codeshare on this route offering travellers more seamless connections through Dubai’s international aviation hub.
Flights from DXB's Terminal 3 to Mykonos International Airport (JMK) and Santorini (Thira) Airport (JTR) will operate on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Return flights from Mykonos will operate via a short stop in Santorini, while flights to Santorini will operate via a short stop in Mykonos.
The launch of the latest destinations brings the number of seasonal routes served by flydubai to six, including Bodrum and Trabzon in Turkey, Batumi in Georgia and Tivat in Montenegro.
A safe travel corridor between the UAE and Greece recently opened for fully vaccinated travellers.
Under the agreement, passengers holding vaccination certificates can travel to Greece without having to quarantine on arrival. The same rule applies to travellers flying from Greece to the UAE.
