Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid inspects AED 25 billion District One project

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has reviewed the progress of the AED 25 billion District One project. The first phase of the development, located in Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum City, between Meydan and Al Khail Road, is scheduled for completion before 2020. Artificial islands, lagoons, parks and a man-made beach are among the highlights of District One, which is billed as an ‘integrated and smart living community.' It’s being constructed across four stages, stretching over a 50-million square metre area.
