A nationwide campaign has been launched under the 'Make it in the Emirates' platform to boost the visibility and sales of UAE-made products across major retail and e-commerce channels.
Led by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, the campaign brings together nine top platforms – including ADNOC Distribution, Noon, Tradeling, Grandiose, Talabat, Carrefour, Lulu, Union Coop and Spinneys – to showcase locally manufactured goods both in-store and online throughout the month of May.
As part of the initiative, retailers are offering prominent shelf space, dedicated digital storefronts and a range of incentives for local manufacturers.
These include waived registration fees, free digital advertising, onboarding support, and up to three months of logistics and storage assistance.
New businesses will also receive help with product registration and promotional support across social media.
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the ministry and campaign partners to formalize the collaboration.
The campaign builds momentum for the upcoming 'Make it in the Emirates' forum, scheduled to take place from May 19-22 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, bringing together industry leaders, investors and innovators from across the region.
