Abu Dhabi saw inflation rise by 3.2% in the first quarter of the year. That’s compared to figures from the same period in 2015, according to data released by Statistics Centre , Abu Dhabi. The Consumer Price Index for January to March shows that housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels accounted for the largest increase, rising 7.7%. Food and beverage rose by 1.6%, whilst the falling oil prices led to transport costs dropping by 6.6%.
