Iconic British toy store Hamley's has been sold to a Hong Kong fashion retailer for around 100 million pounds (AED568 million), according to a source close to the deal. Footwear company C.banner is expected to shortly announce that it has bought the 255-year-old store, known as the oldest toy shop in the world, Reuters quoted the source as saying. The deal comes as Chinese President Xi Jinping is in the United Kingdom for a high profile visit.
