Emirates cancels Houston flights due to severe weather

Emirates has cancelled some flights to and from Houston, Texas, due to severe weather conditions. The airline confirmed that flights EK211 and EK212, both due to take off on Tuesday, have been affected.

In a statement on the its website Emirates confirmed, "Due to severe weather conditions, the following Emirates flights are cancelled: EK211 / 21^st Jan : Dubai to Houston: EK212/ 21^st Jan : Houston to Dubai.

"We regret the inconvenience caused to our customers.

"Affected customers who have booked with travel agents should contact them for alternative travel arrangements. Customers who have booked directly with Emirates may contact their local office for rebooking options.

"Customers can check the latest information on their flights by visiting the flight status page."
