As many as 1.3 million passengers have passed through Dubai World Central (DWC) during the first nine months of this year.
That’s according to the latest figures released by operator Dubai Airports.
Officials say the Al Maktoum International welcomed just short of 22,000 customers during the third quarter of 2019, which is down 81.6 per cent mainly due to seasonal fluctuation in traffic during the summer.
South Asia was the single largest contributor to traffic at DWC during the first nine months of the year, with a total of 379,851 passengers.
