Dubai's hotel room revenue surpassed AED 2 billion in January, new data from the Department of Economy and Tourism showed, marking a 16.5 per cent increase during the same period in 2023.
Along with AED 2.054 billion total revenue, the data also shows an increase in the number of hotel rooms, nights booked and average daily price. It shows that tourism figures in the city increased by 21 per cent compared to January last year.
The total number of hotel nights reached 3.84 million and the average return per room reached AED 535 – an increase of 10 per cent compared to AED 484 in January 2023.
