Dubai is on track to strengthen its position as a leading hub for cruise tourism.
The city has geared up to welcome more than 200 ships and a million visitors over the course of the brand new cruise season that kicked off last month.
There will also be five maiden calls from leading international operators.
The vessels will be docked at the Mina Rashid Terminal that can handle seven mega cruise liners at a time.
The 2019-2020 cruise season will also see increased efforts to promote the sector by the Dubai Cruise Committee, which comprises leading industry partners, including Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, DP World UAE Region, Emirates Airline, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai, and Dubai Customs.
