Six Nations: England one step from glory after win over Wales

England are one win away from the Six Nations title, and the Grand Slam, after beating Wales 25-21 at Twickenham. The hosts held a 16-0 half-time lead thanks to a try from Anthony Watson and three penalties from Owen Farrell. A charge-down try from Dan Biggar gave Wales hope, but further penalties from Farrell gave Eddie Jones’ men a 25-7 lead. However, two tries in four minutes from George North and Talupe Faletau led to a dramatic finish, and North almost won it for the Welsh in the final moments before being shoved into touch. The win is England’s fourth from four games, and leaves them top of the table on eight points. Wales remain second on five points, but could be overtaken later on if France beat Scotland in their game, which begins at 19:00 UAE time. France need to win to take the title race to the final weekend, when they face England in Paris. Meanwhile, last year's champions, Ireland, secured their first win of this campaign, beating Italy 58-15 in Dublin.
