Manchester City have signed Ruben Dias from Benfica in a deal worth more than AED307 million.
The 23-year-old Portugal defender has signed a six-year deal at the Premier League club.
Dias is Pep Guardiola's third significant summer signing, following the arrivals Nathan Ake and Ferran Torres.
"To have the opportunity to join a club like Manchester City is a fantastic opportunity for me and one I couldn't turn down," said Dias.
Meanwhile, Argentine Nicolas Otamendi has moved the other way for a fee of more than AED 536 million.
