New Zealand pulled off an epic run chase against India to win the first One-Day International at Hamilton by four wickets.
The hosts chased down the 348-run target with 11 balls to spare.
Veteran Ross Taylor was unbeaten on 109 off 84 balls, while Henry Nicholls contributed 78 (82 balls) and stand-in skipper Tom Latham scored 69 (48 balls).
Shreyas Iyer top-scored for India with 103 (107 balls), while KL Rahul was unbeaten on 88 (64 balls) and skipper Virat Kohli struck 51 (63 balls).
This was New Zealand's highest successful run chase in ODIs. In 2007, they had gunned down 347 against Australia, incidentally also in Hamilton.
