Karolina Pliskova has clinched the Italian Open, beating Johanna Konta 6-3, 6-4 in the final.
The 27-year-old is the first Czech woman since 1978 to capture the trophy in Rome.
The fourth seed did not drop a single service game as she secured the third clay title of her career in one hour 25 minutes.
With the win, Pliskova will take over the No. 2 ranking from French Open champion Simona Halep.
There's a heavyweight clash in the men's decider later on Sunday, as world number one Novak Djokovic goes up against Rafael Nadal.
