The world number one beat Germany's Jan-Lennard Struff in straight sets to reach a 10th consecutive quarter-final at Roland Garros.
A win for Djokovic this week will see him hold all four Grand Slams at the same time.
He'll now face fifth seed Alexander Zverev in the last eight.
