Preparations are underway for the 10th edition of the Al Salam Cycling Championship, the world’s largest community cycling race in terms of diversity and prize value.
Organised by the Private Office of His Highness the Ruler of Dubai, this milestone edition runs under the theme "Ten Years of Achievements and Success."
Over the past decade, the championship has grown into a major community event — promoting health, well-being and showcasing the natural beauty of Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve, where this year’s races will once again take place.
The Supreme Organising Committee has approved four main races:
- UAE Nationals Amateur Race on December 28
- Elite Race on January 18
- Women’s Race on January 25
- Desert Race on February 1
Omair bin Juma Al Falasi, Director General of The Private Office of H.H. the Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Committee, said the championship goes beyond competition — aiming to inspire an active lifestyle and foster community spirit.
He also highlighted the event’s ongoing commitment to inclusivity and women’s empowerment, with dedicated races for women and broad representation across nationalities.
With new features and surprises still to be revealed, the 10th edition is expected to draw massive participation and strong media attention across platforms.
