Behind a strong defensive effort, the San Francisco 49ers beat the Minnesota Vikings 27 - 10 to reach the NFC Championship game.
The 49ers came in fresh having enjoyed a rest week after earning the top seed in the NFC Conference and took the lead with a Kendrick Bourne touchdown.
They have now earned the right to host either Green Bay or Seattle in next Sunday's NFC Championship game.
