Contributions have been pouring in for the World's Tallest Donation Box in support of the UAE's 10 million meals campaign.
Over 180,000 lights on 18 floors of Burj Khalifa were lit up within just 24 hours of the initiative’s launch on Saturday.
The donations on the first day will help provide 180,000 meals to those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in the UAE.
Individuals and organisations can buy a light on the façade of Burj Khalifa for as little as AED 10 each.
The ultimate aim is to deliver 1.2 million meals by lighting up the entire tower.
