Heavy rain and hail hit Sharjah's Kalba area on Monday.
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) also reported showers in parts of Fujairah, Dibba and Hatta.
It tweeted videos of the hailstorm in Kalba and of a flooded valley in Fujairah due to the heavy rains.
The authority had earlier issued alerts for dust storms and rains, urging people to be extra cautious while driving or heading for outdoor trips.
