The UAE has welcomed the extension of the Black Sea grain export deal between Ukraine and Russia.
It also commended the efforts of the United Nations and Turkey in securing the four-month extension.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said the agreement, which paves the way for the export of grain products from Ukraine and Russia via the Black Sea, will help ease global food shortages.
The Ministry also expressed hope that the latest developments would contribute to the establishment of peace between the two countries.
