As many as 80,683 people in the UAE have taken the COVID-19 vaccine over the last 24 hours.
It brings the total number of vaccine doses provided across the nation to 1,167,251, with a distribution rate of 11.8 doses per 100 people.
The free vaccination drive is in line with the Ministry of Health and Prevention's (MoHAP) efforts to achieve herd immunity by reaching out to all members of society.
