UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has announced a week-long celebration, starting January 29, to honour the "enduring bond" the country shares with Kuwait.
Sharing on social media platform X, Sheikh Mohamed highlighted the strong ties shared between the two countries, describing Kuwait as a "longstanding supporter and partner of the UAE since before the Union".
He urged "the community to honour this enduring bond and celebrate Kuwait".

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, also posted a special message to commemorate the decades-long bond with Kuwait.

The one-week celebration comes ahead of Kuwait's national day, held annually on February 25.
