The State Security Chamber of the UAE Federal Supreme Court has rejected the appeals of those convicted in the case dubbed the 'Terrorist Justice and Dignity Organisation' case.
This decision upholds the ruling of the Abu Dhabi Federal Court of Appeals.
The court also announced a postponement for the verdict on the Public Prosecutor's appeals, which will now be heard on April 8.
In the original case, known as Case No. 452 of 2023, 59 were convicted, including 53 defendants linked to the Muslim Brotherhood organisation, along with six companies. They were handed sentences ranging from life imprisonment to fines of up to AED 20 million.
The Public Prosecutor had appealed part of the ruling, specifically regarding 24 defendants accused of collaborating with and funding the terrorist group 'Reform Call' (Da'wat Al-Islah).
The State Security Chamber decided to register this appeal separately and will review it on April 8.
