The UAE has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on Monday that killed seven people and injured several others in central Kabul, Afghanistan.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) affirmed the UAE's permanent rejection of all forms of violence, extremism, and terrorism aimed at undermining security and stability.
The attack targeted a Chinese-run restaurant in a commercial area that also houses offices, shopping complexes and embassies, and is considered one of the safest neighbourhoods in the city, according to Reuters.
The ministry expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the victims' families and the people of China and Afghanistan over this attack, wishing a speedy recovery for those injured.
