The UAE has strongly condemned Iran's drone attack on its territory, calling it a dangerous escalation that poses a threat to the security, stability and territorial integrity of the state.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) reiterated the call for an immediate stop to the attacks, adding that it retains its full and legitimate right to respond to these attacks in a manner that safeguards its national security.
The ministry reiterated its call for restraint and a resort to diplomatic solutions and dialogue.
The UAE Armed Forces on Monday dealt with a drone over the country's territorial waters that came from Iran, while denying reports that Al Minhad Air Base was targeted by missiles.
