The United Arab Emirates has warned that the threat of terrorist organisations, most notably IS and Al-Qaeda-affiliated groups, transcends geographical boundaries. That’s according to UAE Foreign Minister HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who gave a speech at the 70th Session of the UN General Assembly in New York. According to the statement posted on national news agency WAM, he said such terror groups are a risk not only for the Middle Eastern region, but for all states and communities. He also stressed that the UAE has played an effective role in international efforts to help countries that are affected by these threats.
