The UAE has sent an aid plane with 12 metric tonnes of medical supplies to Brazil.
The products, which include COVID-19 testing kits, are set to assist approximately 12,000 healthcare professionals working to curb the spread of the virus in the South American country.
The UAE hopes that this cooperation will offer people and frontline workers in Brazil with the necessary protection as they work to contain the virus.
To date, the UAE has responded to the COVID-19 crisis by providing over 1,039 metric tons of supplies to 70 countries, supporting more than one million medical professionals in the process.
