The UAE continues to take significant steps to support healthcare in the Gaza Strip by delivering essential medical supplies and medicines to the UK field hospital and UK-Med clinics in the enclave.
This initiative, as part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, addresses the critical shortage of medical supplies in Gaza and the overwhelmed local healthcare system, struggling to meet the needs of people in urgent need of care.
The UAE field hospital in Rafah has sent approximately three tonnes of medications and medical supplies to the UK field hospital, which serves displaced individuals in Al Mawasi safe zone.
Over 400 tonnes of medical aid has been delivered in the Gaza Strip since the launch of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.
Additionally, the UAE is collaborating with global medical organisations, including the World Health Organisation, to enhance humanitarian efforts and ensure that necessary treatment reaches those in need.
