UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan performed Eid Al Fitr prayers on Wednesday morning alongside worshipers at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi.
His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, and His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, also performed the prayers.
During the Eid sermon, Dr Omar Habtoor Al Darei, Director General of the UAE Council for Fatwa, highlighted the importance of family bonds and prayed for the UAE's continued stability and prosperity.
Following the prayer, the UAE President exchanged greetings with worshippers and visited the tomb of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
"We pray that God continues to bestow his blessings on our nation and grants peace and harmony to the people of the world," Sheikh Mohamed wrote on his official social media channel.
