UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan joined leaders of Qatar and Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince in reaffirming their support for all efforts aimed at regional de-escalation.
According to national news agency Wam, UAE President discussed the latest developments in the Middle East during calls with Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
All sides urged the parties involved in the conflict "to apply wisdom, prioritise dialogue and peaceful solutions, exercise maximum restraint and avoid further escalation".
They also reaffirmed their countries’ support for all efforts aimed at de-escalation through diplomatic means.
