The UAE's leaders have welcomed the guests of the World Governments Summit 2025, which begins in Dubai on February 11, with record-breaking international participation.
The three-day summit will bring together over 30 heads of state, 140 government delegations, more than 80 international and regional organisations, and over 6,000 global leaders and experts.
In his welcome statement, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasized the UAE’s commitment to global cooperation, highlighting the importance of unity in tackling the world's major challenges through joint action.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, described the summit as a key platform for fostering global dialogue, stressing the importance of governments being proactive and adaptable in today’s rapidly changing world.
He noted that the summit provides an opportunity to shape the future through collective efforts and strategic international partnerships.
