President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan joined other UAE leaders in congratulating Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and the People's Action Party on their election victory on Saturday.
In a social media post, Sheikh Mohamed said he looked forward to continuing to work with the newly elected Singaporean government.
"I look forward to working together to strengthen cooperation between the UAE and Singapore and serve the aspirations of both our nations and peoples for further development and prosperity," he wrote.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, also wished the Singaporean leader continued success.
