The UAE has delivered a batch of crucial medical aid to support health facilities in the Gaza Strip as part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.
It was carried out in cooperation with the World Health Organisation (WHO) to alleviate the worsening health crisis in Gaza and relieve pressure on hospitals that have sustained heavy damage or ceased operations.
Delivered through the Emirati field hospital in southern Gaza, the aid included large quantities of essential medicines, consumables and specialised materials for paediatric care.
The shipment also included 150 medical beds and six field tents intended to establish temporary medical units.
The conflict has left Gaza’s medical infrastructure severely damaged and disrupted pharmaceutical supplies, leaving thousands of patients at risk.
