UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has held bilateral talks with his Indonesian counterpart Prabowo Subianto during a meeting at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi.
The two leaders discussed ways to enhance cooperation within the framework of their Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).
They particularly focused on expanding development in key sectors, including economy, trade, renewable energy, technology, artificial intelligence, sustainability, food security, and culture.
Both sides highlighted their 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations, which was established in 1976, marking it as a significant milestone and an opportunity to further expand cooperation.
His Highness noted the continuing progress of the longstanding ties between the two nations, reaffirming the UAE’s commitment to advancing its development and economic partnership with Indonesia for the benefit of both countries and their peoples.
The two leaders also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual concern, underscoring the importance of strengthening the foundations of peace and stability at the regional and global levels and promoting political solutions to crises.
