UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has discussed strengthening bilateral relations with President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo Félix Tshisekedi in a phone call on Wednesday.
The two leaders looked into cooperating in the economic and development fields under the priorities of their Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).
Tshisekedi also expressed his appreciation to His Highness for the UAE’s provision of humanitarian assistance and medical supplies to support the response to health challenges in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
