Three directors from the Gulf have been nominated for the fourth IWC Filmmaker Award. The directors will be presenting their films at the 12th Dubai International Film Festival which is on from December 9-16. The nominees are Emirati director Layla Kaylif for “The Letter Writer”, Qatar's Khalifa Al Muraikhi for “Sahaab” and Saudi Shahad Ameen for “Scales”. The winner will receive a cash prize of around AED 367,000.
