Sultan Al Neyadi receives standing ovation at Arab Media Forum

Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi got a rousing standing ovation as he addressed a packed hall about his historic space expedition on the final day of the Arab Media Forum.

During the talk titled ‘From the Desert to the Stars’, he expressed pride at making history for the Arabs and encouraged fellow Emiratis to give their best for the nation.

Al Neyadi also spoke about his childhood dreams, overcoming challenges and thanked his parents for their support on his space journey.

Attending the session, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, highlighted how "Sultan today presents an honourable example for the ambitious Emirati and Arab youth who are confident in their abilities and creative in conveying their message".
