The smart gates at Dubai International Airport's Terminal 3 have been reactivated for departing passengers.
According to the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA), travellers will be able to use the gates by scanning their passports.
The move is aimed at simplifying travel procedures and enhancing the confidence of people travelling through Dubai.
The GDRFA also added that Dubai airports have been witnessing a gradual increase in passenger numbers since the resumption of air traffic.
