Sheikh Mohammed reads poem for soldiers

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai has joined the nation in welcoming the brave UAE soldiers returning from Yemen . He has applauded their sacrifices with a 25-verse poem, describing them as “lions of the Peninsula.” Meanwhile, top UAE leaders VIPs and officials have reached Sweihan to celebrate the arrival of the first contingent of UAE Armed Forces. The homecoming is part of a troop rotation policy, which saw the second batch of soldiers assume their duties in Yemen on November 2nd.
