His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has announced the second phase of UAE government's "Zero Bureaucracy" programme.
In a post on social media platform X, Sheikh Mohammed said the move aims to "eliminate digital bureaucracy".
"Our goal: a government without complexity, services without waiting... and results that make a real difference in people's lives," he added.
Sheikh Mohammed highlighted that the "project to create simpler, faster, and more effective government services" has been well received in its first phase.
The project has "reduced service delivery time by more than 70 per cent, eliminated more than 4,000 unnecessary procedures, and saved customers more than 12 million hours of travel and time costs".
Sheikh Mohammed thanked more than 30 government agencies and 690 work teams for their contributions to reduce government procedures.
