A medical research and treatment facility will soon be built in the emirate of Sharjah. The centre will tackle diseases including diabetes, endocrinology, cancer and nanomedicine. According to the national news agency WAM, the facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology and house highly qualified specialists. Its creation was ordered by His Highness Dr. Sheikh bin Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. His Highness also approved the establishment of a mobile clinic to treat children, differently abled residents and the elderly.
