 
                                    Public and government libraries will undergo a massive facelift under a AED 2.5 million grant issued by His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
New additions will be from Arabic and international publishers participating in the 16th edition of the Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival.
It will also see the introduction of thousands of new titles annually, with a diverse array of resources covering various fields of science and literature.
The move underscores the importance of supporting the publishing sector and offering an extensive range of modern learning and reading resources to the younger generation.
Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Book Authority (SBA), said the grant "is a gift to readers, offering new opportunities for younger generations to discover, ask questions, and innovate".
