The Roads and Transport Authority is spending AED 216 million to construct internal roads in Nad Al Sheba 4 and Al Khawaneej 2, to meet the needs of the growing population in Dubai. The internal roads project will see the construction of an extended road network, roadside parking slots, in addition to street lighting and rainwater drainage. Work is expected to be completed at the beginning of 2017.
