The Police headquarters of Fujairah and Ras al-Khaima have announced several roads will be closed on Thursday, in conjunction with stage 4 of the UAE Tour.
The following roads set to close for half an hour from 11:30 a.m. in Fujairah:
Qidfa Street-Fujairah
Kuwaiti Street
Said bin Hamdan Al-Sharqi Street
Najimat Street
Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Street (Al Bithnah- Al Bulaida – Dafta – Masafi – Thoban)
In Ras al-Khaima, Masafi road will be closed from 1:20 p.m. until the athletes cross the area. The Al-Ghail area towards Al-Shuhada street and Emirates Road will also be closed at 2:00 p.m.
The UAE Tour is an annual road cycling race spanning across the UAE and is due to finish on Sunday.
Stages 5, 6, and 7 are set to be held in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Al Ain, respectively, over the coming days.
