Road closures will be in place on Sunday morning to make way for the Dubai Ride cycling event.
Sheikh Zayed Road will be closed between the Trade Centre Roundabout and the second bridge, from 3:30 am to 10:00 am, and so will the Lower Financial Centre Street along the stretch between Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard will also be closed in one direction.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has advised motorists to take alternative routes. These include Al Mustaqbal Road, Al Wasl Road and Al Khail Road.
The annual Dubai Ride, which is a major highlight of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, invites cycling enthusiasts of all ages to take part in a unique ride through the heart of the city,
It features two routes to accommodate participants of various fitness levels, making it an inclusive event for the whole community.
Coinciding with Dubai Ride on Sunday, 10 November, RTA announces the closure of the following roads from 3:30 AM to 10:00 AM:
