As many as 4,200 families in the UAE and abroad have benefitted from the distribution of sacrificial meat by the Emirates Charitable Association this year.
That's according to Abdullah Saeed Al Tunaiji, Secretary-General of the Association, who said meat was distributed to 840 families in need, widows, orphans, and people with limited incomes.
The organisation also distributed 840 items of sacrificial meat to 3,360 families outside the country.
Al Tunaiji emphasised the distribution process was in line with the country's directives and the safety procedures followed in cooperation with the approved associations.
