COVID-19 cases in schools across the UAE will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
However, Dr. Taher Al Braik Al Ameri, the official spokesperson for the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA), told ARN News that should a student test positive for the virus, the school will switch to the distance learning system.
He said that this will be done to ensure the safety of both the children and staff.
Dr. Al Ameri also explained how they will handle the situation.
